Our Mission

We are dedicated to providing specialized complex care with the utmost empathy and professional excellence. Our history is built on a commitment to supporting individuals with unique needs, ensuring they receive the compassionate, artisanal care they deserve in a supportive environment.

Who We Are

The service is a 31-bed Elderly Mentally Infirm (EMI) Nursing Home providing specialist, person-centred care for adults living with dementia, complex mental health conditions, and chronic physical health needs. The home delivers 24-hour nursing care within a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment designed to promote dignity, independence, and quality of life.

The service supports individuals with a wide range of needs including Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, Lewy body dementia, behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and other enduring mental health conditions. In addition, residents often present with multiple long-term conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, respiratory illnesses, neurological disorders, and mobility impairments requiring ongoing nursing intervention and clinical oversight.

A team of registered nurses, care staff, and multidisciplinary professionals work collaboratively to provide comprehensive assessment, care planning, treatment monitoring, medication management, behavioural support, rehabilitation, and health promotion. The home is equipped to manage complex nursing needs including wound care, continence management, nutritional support, palliative care, and end-of-life care.

The service adopts a holistic approach that recognises the physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of each resident. Individualised care plans are developed in partnership with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and advocates to ensure care is responsive to changing needs and personal preferences.

The home is committed to delivering high-quality dementia and mental health care through evidence-based practice, staff training, and continuous service improvement. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining meaningful relationships, reducing distress, supporting positive outcomes, and enabling residents to live with dignity, comfort, and purpose throughout their care journey.

The service also provides compassionate end-of-life care, working closely with palliative care teams, GPs, and families to ensure residents receive comfort, symptom management, and emotional support in accordance with their wishes and advanced care plans.
